It is the solomn duty of each president to build a library that they can name after themselves. It is even more important when the library will be a greater accomplishment than said president's term in office itself. That is why it saddened me greatly today to read that ex-President George W. Bush is having difficulties raising the money to build his own personal library and go-cart track: If we have ever had a president more in need of a positive accomplishment, or more in need of reading an entire book, it has to be George W. Bush. To the best of the knowledge of the American people, George W. Bush doesn't generally read himself. The only time he was witnessed reading was during the attacks on September 11th 2001; when he read 'The Pet Goat' to a group of school children. Much has been made about the fact that (then) President Bush finished reading the story 'The Pet Goat' while Radical Islamic terrorists completed thier multi-point attack on the United States. Less is made of the fact that George W. Bush hasn't personally finished reading the book from which this story was derived. 'The Pet Goat' was just one of many stories in 'Reading Mastery II: Storybook 1'. George W. Bush is a supporter of the 'No Child Left Behind' program; therefore we feel it would be beneficial for George W. Bush to read the complete book, if not the entire series, so that he can fully experience a modern education. So, here is our modest proposal: Buy a copy of 'Reading Mastery II: Storybook 1' and donate it to George W Bush's presidential library. Perhaps he will finish reading the book if he has so many copies that he can't misplace them all.
